DivorceCare’s life-changing support groups welcome people and guide them on the path of recovery after separation or divorce. Over 1 million people have found comfort and hope through this 13-week, video-based series.
Cornerstone hosts Divorce Care from time to time on Wednesday nights. Click below for the current schedule in our area.
A GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
Cornerstone hosts GriefShare from time to time on Wednesday nights. Click below for the current schedule in our area.
Adult Bible Fellowships (ABFs) exist to help believers grow in Christ by cultivating loving, caring relationships with each other. Because church is more than a place to attend,
ABFs are designed for men and women to connect and serve together. Bible study,
prayer, and fellowship are all key components of each class. ABFs begin each
Sunday at 9:00 am and are generally divided by ages, although anyone is
welcome to attend any class of his/her choosing.
Small Groups exist to provide the members of our church a context in which to fulfill the "one another" commands of Scripture. The groups meet throughout the metro area on different days of the week and seek to apply Sunday's sermon to our everyday lives with help from one another. Participants will develop Gospel-centered relationships, be challenged to follow Jesus in their daily lives, be helped in understanding and applying Scripture, and will be given opportunities to help others. This is one of our many means
of discipleship here at Cornerstone and we hope you will consider joining a
Small Group today.
Contact Dave Dunham to participate.
Wednesday night elective classes run during the winter, spring, and fall
from 7:00-8:15pm.

Our Adult Bible Study meets at 10am on Wednesdays during the school year.

The Women’s Ministry Theme for this year is
“Delight in the Things of the Lord,” Psalm 40:8-11.
“I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart. I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation; Behold, I will not restrain my lips, O LORD, You know. I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation. You, O LORD, will not withhold Your compassion from me; Your lovingkindness and Your truth will continually preserve me.”
Zeola Carey
Director, Women's Ministry
"Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen" Jude 1:24-25
A philosophy of ministry is a reflection of the purpose for which we live, the truths that we embrace and emphasize, and the principles by which we live. These determine the priorities, which we pursue through careful planning and disciplined practices. If you have any questions, please contact the church office.

IMPACT - MS/HS COMBINED - Sundays, 9:00-10:00 AM
IMPACT stands for -
I
Must
Personally
ACT.
We believe God's Word is true, relevant, and has ultimate authority in our lives. IMPACT is designed to challenge our students with the truth of God's Word and how they need to respond to it. On Sunday mornings we are studying God’s Word using The New City Catechism. Catechisms are written in order to clearly explain the gospel and lay out the doctrines on which the gospel is built – i.e., God, mankind, sin, etc. Catechisms also build a stronghold against heresies, errors, and false beliefs that not only exist in the world but also arise in the church. Finally, catechisms help God’s people grow and live as a counterculture that reflects the greatness and goodness of the Lord Jesus Christ. It helps us live as a distinct people. After a time of study from God's Word the students then break into small groups where they talk through how to apply what they just learned - what it looks like in real life.
COLLISION - MS/HS COMBINED - Wednesdays, 7:00-8:15 PM
Being a Christian is messy business. We fail and succeed...sin and grow...learn (often times the hard way) and change. The story of the Bible, and our lives, is of our depravity colliding with God's grace - and being overwhelmed by the person and work of Jesus Christ. COLLISION is designed for our students to gather in a more informal setting where everything is aimed at helping them learn how to enjoy God - and life in Christ. Being a Christian is not about living a dull, lonely life. We want them to enjoy Christ and enjoy each other, and love their church. We have a social time to build new friendships and strengthen existing ones. We have games to help them interact and enjoy each other. We sing a lot to provide a means for them to praise the Lord. And, the goal of our teaching during COLLISION is to teach the students through the Bible (Genesis-Revelation) in four years.
Worship Together
We meet every Sunday morning at 9:00 AM in our recently renovated College Room. Our primary time of worship, Sunday mornings, consists of praying for one another, worshipping God (as our college members lead in music), and hearing sound, biblical messages for the purpose of application to the lives of college-age adults.
Mature Together
We gather together each Sunday evening at 6 PM for Christian discipleship in a small group context. Depending on the evening, we meet at a number of locations including our leader's homes, our College Room, parks, coffee shops, etc.
Serve Together
As Christians, we are called to put other's interests before our own. To that end, we strive to identify, develop, and implement the spiritual gifts that God has given us in service to our local body of believers here at Cornerstone. Furthermore, we strive to serve our community by seeking out opportunities to share our faith with our neighbors, co-workers, and family members who do not know Christ as Savior. We also take time to share the Gospel through service projects as a group.
Love
Love God with all we have (Matthew 22:34-40). We seek to love God with all that we are (our heart, soul, mind, and strength).
Grow
Grow together in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:15-16). We use our gifts to serve The Body of Christ, meeting each other's needs as members of one another, growing into obedience to Christ, The Head of The Church.
Missions Ministry
A church is not only defined by its beliefs but also by how those beliefs are lived out. That is why Cornerstone takes seriously Christ’s admonition to make disciples at home and around the world by preaching the gospel through evangelism. Cornerstone seeks to have a global impact on the world by sharing God’s passion for His glory through supporting twenty-five active missionaries serving virtually in every continent as well as six mission organizations and three retired missionaries.
Our members also participate first hand in shedding the light of Christ through participating in sponsored short-term mission trips. Each year, short-term teams go to various countries around the world to assist in completing construction projects, assist mission medical teams and orphanage needs, and/or provide disaster relief. Our student ministries have the opportunity to particiapte in Lead the Cause, a domestic trip where youth groups spend an intensive week praying, learning, and brainstorming together to reach their community for Christ.
Whether it is through financially supporting missionaries or mission agencies, our members participating in short-term trips or our students learning about missions through doing missions work, Cornerstone desires to have a global impact for Christ.
