A church is not only defined by its beliefs but also by how those beliefs are lived out. That is why Cornerstone takes seriously Christ’s admonition to make disciples at home and around the world by preaching the gospel through evangelism. Cornerstone seeks to have a global impact on the world by sharing God’s passion for His glory through supporting twenty-five active missionaries serving virtually in every continent as well as six mission organizations and three retired missionaries.
Our members also participate first hand in shedding the light of Christ through participating in sponsored short-term mission trips. Each year, short-term teams go to various countries around the world to assist in completing constructions projects, assist mission medical teams and orphanage needs, and/or provide disaster relief.
In order to train up our young people to live out their beliefs, through our Student Ministries department, our high school students have the opportunity to participate in two mission trips a year. One locally where our students learn to share the good news of Christ to people in their world and one internationally to Jamaica where our students assist two Jamaican churches by sponsoring Vacation Bible Schools at each church.
Whether it is through financially supporting missionaries or mission agencies, our members participating in short-term trips or our students learning about missions through doing mission work, Cornerstone desires to have a global impact for Christ.
In order to serve missionaries that are in need of housing during their home assignment, Cornerstone maintains a mission house on its property in Roseville, Michigan for missionaries.
