Love God with all we have (Matthew 22:34-40).  We seek to love God with all that we are (our heart, soul, mind, and strength).

Strive toward Christian maturity (Colossians 1:28-29). We work hard to fight against our sin and to grow in holiness, with the goal of looking more like Jesus every day.

  • GROW

Grow together in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:15-16).  We use our gifts to serve The Body of Christ, meeting each other's needs as members of one another, growing into obedience to Christ, The Head of The Church.

We meet every Sunday morning at 9:30 AM in our recently renovated College Room.  Our primary time of worship, Sunday mornings, consists of praying for one another, worshipping God (as our college members lead in music), and hearing sound, biblical messages for the purpose of application to the lives of college-age adults.

We gather together each Sunday evening at 6 PM for Christian discipleship in a small group context.  In our current series, we are studying the book Tactics by Gregory Koukl. This book explores different tactics Christians have to use in their evangelistic efforts from the perspective of the one-on-one converstion.  Depending on the evening, we meet at a number of locations including our leader's homes, our College Room, parks, coffee shops, etc.  (You can find our Sunday evening schedule in Cornerstone's weekly bulletin.)

Worldview Discipleship Group - This discipleship group meets every other Friday evening in the Cornerstone Café from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.  We discuss important topics that arise from our cultural contexts and how to address those issues biblically with the goal of living every aspect of our lives according to a biblically-based Christian worldview.

As Christians, we are called to put other's interests before our own.  To that end, we strive to identify, develop, and implement the spiritual gifts that God has given us in service to our local body of believers here at Cornerstone. Furthermore, we strive to serve our community by seeking out opportunities to share our faith with our neighbors, co-workers, and family members who do not know Christ as Savior.  We also take time to share the Gospel through service projects as a group.

  • Thank you for your interest in Cornerstone’s College Ministry. Recognizing that we live in a culture that increasingly rejects biblical truth, we strive to equip our young adults with a thorough knowledge of God’s authoritative Word, and the means to apply that Word to their individual lives. Furthermore, our goal is to help our people develop a Christian worldview that enables them to see all of their lives in view of God’s Word, and provides them with the biblical answers for the various assaults our culture wages on God’s Truth. We would love to have you join us as we seek to grow as Christians into the likeness of our Savior Jesus Christ.

    In Christ,

Bobby Johnson, Pastoral Intern for College Ministry
